You’ve got two convenient thumb studs for opening so you can switch hands if you need. The blade locks up securely with the liner lock mechanism so you don’t have to worry about it slipping. The handle is made of black aluminum so it’s lightweight, and it has a notched,textured and grooved pattern that provides a solid grip. The finger grooves and thumb ramp jimping also add to the security of the knife.
